Rainier School Closure
Right now, the Washington State Legislature is considering SB 5393, a bill that would put our Chamber Member Rainier School in line for closure — something that would have serious consequences for Buckley, and our community.
They need your help in three key ways:
1. Sign in CON – Show your opposition to SB 5393 by signing in no later than March 13 at 3 p.m. using this link: https://app.leg.wa.gov/csi/Testifier/Add?chamber=Senate&mId=32998&aId=165461&caId=26342&tId=3
2. Testify Live – If you or someone you know in Buckley is willing to give live testimony (online or in person), they'd love to hear from you. Testimony is typically 60–90 seconds, and if you need talking points, reach out to the email below.
